1. Commitment to accessibility
Mymspgoat Inc. is committed to ensuring that its website, mymspgoat.com, is accessible to all individuals, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access the internet. We believe that every visitor should be able to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our website effectively. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continually work to improve the user experience for everyone.
2. Standards we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is widely recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility and is referenced by both provincial and federal accessibility legislation in Canada.
3. Provincial legislation (AODA)
As a company incorporated in Ontario, Mymspgoat Inc. operates in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11). The AODA requires organizations to make their websites and web content conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We have chosen to exceed this requirement by targeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the most recent version of the guidelines at the time of writing.
4. Federal legislation (Accessible Canada Act)
Mymspgoat Inc. also recognizes the principles set out in the Accessible Canada Act (2019), which aims to achieve a barrier-free Canada by identifying, removing, and preventing accessibility barriers in areas under federal jurisdiction. While the Act primarily applies to federally regulated entities, we voluntarily align our digital accessibility practices with its objectives to proactively remove barriers in our information and communication technologies.
5. Current measures
To support accessibility on our website, Mymspgoat Inc. takes the following measures:
- Semantic HTML markup is used throughout the site to ensure proper document structure and meaningful content hierarchy.
- All images include alternative text descriptions where appropriate.
- The website is fully navigable using a keyboard alone, and a visible focus indicator is provided for interactive elements.
- A "skip to main content" link is provided on every page to allow users to bypass repeated navigation.
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA minimum requirements.
- The site is designed responsively to work across devices and screen sizes, including when text is resized up to 200%.
- ARIA landmarks and labels are used where appropriate to help assistive technologies identify page regions.
- The website is available in both English and French, with language attributes properly declared.
6. Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some portions of this website may not yet be fully accessible. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are continually reviewing and improving our content. Some documents or third-party content linked from our site may not conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. When we become aware of such limitations, we work to address them as quickly as possible or provide accessible alternatives. If you encounter a barrier, we encourage you to contact us so we can assist you directly.
7. Assessment and testing
We assess the accessibility of mymspgoat.com using a combination of automated testing tools and manual review. Automated tools help identify common issues, while manual testing ensures that the site is usable in practice with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. We periodically review our site to verify continued conformance as content and features are updated. For details about our company and corporate information, please see our Legal Notice.
